A living legend, Frank Boon, has done as much as anyone to revive and carry on the old traditions of Lambic brewing in the Senne Valley region around Brussels. Lambic Brouwerij Boon, in Lembeek, Belgium, is a family operation run by Frank, and his sons Jos and Karel. They produce Lambic using ancient methods and have no intention of changing a thing.
Geuze Mariage Parfait features a craftsmanship unique to Lambic blending. The finest three years old Lambics are blended with young lambic; a perfect marriage made in brewing heaven. The end result is an 8% ale with the fruitiness of lime zest and tangerine, smooth vanilla, a slight tart flavor and a palate-refreshing acidity.
Vat 92 is pleasantly full-bodied, complex and contains smoky and spicy tests. These unique flavors are derived from the oak barrel, used for red wine in France in the Rhône valley.
